2nd Floor Cafe Space More than half of our 2nd floor cafe space is preserved as it was nearly 200 years ago, including the original plaster on all walls except the east one. We hope many customers will enjoy the unique atmosphere of this old kura.

"Savor a Hot, Sizzling Lunch in Our Historic Kura." Our homemade bread is baked to perfection in a cast-iron skillet, topped with your choice of cheesy meat or potato gratin. Limited daily servings.In the front yard, we created a natural garden where over 100 kinds of plants grow. At the base of the old plum tree at the entrance, we grow herbs that are used in the sweets and drinks served at the shop.

Since 1832
During the renovation, a serendipitous discovery was made. Behind one of the storehouse walls, a wooden plaque was found, bearing the date "October 17th, Tempo 3rd year."

This finding confirmed that the Eastern Storehouse was constructed nearly 190 years ago. The reverse side of the plaque revealed the name of the original carpenter and the exact completion date, providing a tangible connection to the past.
